Clerickal, Australia, Oct: Awesome review. I havent seen the film as yet, but your review has piqued my interest immensely.
Susan, Nov: I work in film in the USA and look forward to each newsletter to find out what's going on here and abroad. Reviews are always "spot on" - I'm insanely jealous that you get to see so many films, including the less than great ones.
Patrick, Aug: First let me compliment you on you web site. It is fabulous!
Rachel, Aug Just a quick note to say that I really like Rich Cline's reviews. Whenever i have to go on Imdb, I always turn to him. Thank you!
Nik Huggins, FutureMovies.co.uk: your site is very impressive, especially since you seem to do all the reviewing yourself! all the best from one internet movie reviewer to another. Maybe I'll run into you at a screening some time!
Patrick Evans, Artsmagic, Sep: This Saturday we are releasing The Spiral. While looking for reviews on the film I came across your site, and was impressed by the content of your reviews, and your site.
Rebecca, Jun: Thanks for your review of "American Psycho" you are one of the few who took the time to figure out that Bateman's killings were in his head - fantasy not reality. He himself tell's the audience it- if they were really listening.
London, Sep: Congrats on your website - easy on the eye, easy to read, jaunty, feisty n fun! I shall be dipping in regularly.
Larry, Jul I just wanted to thank you for your kind words about my performance. Your complimentary words really meant a lot!
Allan, Jul: You have a terrific web site. I will visit it as much as imdb. Thanks again.

Jerry, May: Whereas I don't expect all to like the film, I think you are off the mark in calling the piece amatuerish. Have you ever been to the South of the USA? I'm merely curious at this point.
Nik, London Sep: Haven't seen the [Lizzie McGuire] movie, but have seen some episodes and am slightly disturbed by the review. "we'd happily stare at her dazzling smile for 90 minutes!" ??? This is surely taboo in our terrified nation? The girl is 12! And yes, she's pretty, and yes she wears tiny clothes, but she's still 12! This isn't really the reviewer's fault, though. Duff's character is sexualised in the TV programme anyway, and any move to big screen was always guaranteed to make her more Britney-like. Teen fantasy is one thing, but this is some producer's paedo dream come to life. Let's all keep our filthy desires to ourselves in future. Now her mum, that's another thing...
Ed: At the time this comment was written, Hilary Duff is 16, not 12, and my comment was about her smile and nothing else.
Danny Merit, Jul: This reviewer is a psycophant. Forget about spoilers or plotlines reviewed, this praise is written as if he has not even viewed the film. Oh wait, you haven't. No mention what the film is about and how it's resolved. No mention, well, of anything.

Skitlz, Oct: Dean Cook is the all time FREAKY KID!!! we LUV ur muzzle and straight jacket!!! Join R Band!!! FREAKY KID!!! we love u!!! and if u think hes urs.... UR STUPID!!!! FREAKY KID!!!
Steve, France, Oct: My 5 favorite movies of all time are: 1 One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest; 2 The Shining; 3 Run Lola Run; 4 Star Wars 4-5-6; 5 The Shawshank Redemption & The Usual Suspects ... sorry, so many good ones! What's yours?
Ed: See SHADOWS TOP 100.
Robin, Oct: I am contacting you on behalf of the Santa Fe Film Festival. We are putting our catalog together and wondered if we could use one of your write-ups in it. We would credit you and send you a copy of the published catalog as thanks.
Beatrice, Sep: I'm the writer of 'Grand Theft Parsons', which you were nice about recently, and I'm also the writer of (the previously stalled project) 'Rotten', which you mention in today's news. I wonder if you would mind telling me what further information you have about the Lydon film, as I believe my script is still being used and I'm waiting to see if the blockage has been cleared.
Gary, Scotland, Oct: Good to see a UK based site covering so much reviews. Especially when you are seeing a lot of stuff that isn't getting that much coverage.
Phil G, Oct: I'm delighted to have found this site because we have very similar taste but you articulate it so well! I'd be happy to trust your opinions and therefore wonder if you have a list of films you rated 4 1/2 and 5. Other than wade through which I aint got the time!
Ed: Well, you can search for my highest-rated reviews at ROTTEN TOMATOES, I have my 10 favourites on current release at the REVIEWS page, my top 30 films since 1981 at SHADOWS AWARDS and my all-time favourites at SHADOWS TOP 100.
Sandra, Sep: I know you don't always have advance info on release dates, but when you know a past US release date it would be great to have that info.
Beatrice, Sep: I had to reply to your e-mail, because you so graciously replied to my inquiry. I was pleasantly surprised that you took time to answer me. Thank you for your suggestions of where I might find the information I seek. You are doing good work!
Colin, Yorkshire, Sep: Just to say how useful your news continues to be to me on the Full Breakfast [radio programme]. I've even got some cheesey 'movie' music which I now play underneath while reading out what I call the 'Movie Gossip'. It sounds great!
Ed: Note that the material is supplied by prior agreement.
Net, Aug: I was raped, and believe me its devastating, not only that but further up evils,i believe if my story was filmed, including my further challenges it would make a interesting story line can you help?
NYC, Aug.03: [In response to a news story that the Olsen Twins' movie New York Minute was filming in Toronto] wouldn't it be shocking if NEW YORK MINUTE was actually filmed in NY??? we, in the NY film community, would be pleased, you can be sure!
Anthony, Jul Thanks for the review...as far as I go I am working in casting in ny for a television show and on the side working on my feature. im glad you liked the film...it was a great review! Thanks so much.

Israel, Aug: The song that Rosemary sings to him when they first date...can you send me the name and the group that performs it.
USA, Aug: Where/how can I find this -- preferably on vhs?
Montreal, Jul: Have you any idea when this film is scheduled for release in North America (Montreal to be more specific)
John, Jul: Do you think Cate Blanchett's performance is strong enough to land her a second Oscar nomination? What about Brenda Fricker? Thanks!
Jorge, Jul: I live in Argentina. Is it possible to get free promotional items as a souvenir, especially from that exciting country?
Eric, Aug: great movie! I just wonder why doesn't the movie appear on Yahoo movies?
